First of all, no disrespect to born & bred New Yorkers, but I grew up in the mid-west and consider myself a very polite person. So, I thank you for taking the time to respond to me that you are already booked but thanked me for the interest in your business. At that point you've just established a nice impression on me and I appreciate that and will surely consider your company in the future.
Secondly, I am thankful for your response because on the same night I reached out to at least 5 companies online and then to 2 more companies by phone. Out of those 7 companies, I only heard back from 3, yourself included.
Therefore, I think that is a terrible response rate considering that your line of business can be driven by word-of-mouth. So, while you were booked, I take into consideration that you are a considerate business owner and someone I would recommend based on customer service already - not even based on your quality of service.
I hope that makes sense to you. Keep up the great customer service! Hope to be able to utilize your services in the future.

I have to say that you were very professional in every sense of the word. We appreciated every phase of your pre-party planning from e-mails, to phone calls, to the final planning meeting at our home.
We loved the music that you chose and were thankful that you worked so hard to be sure that we got what we wanted. We liked that you were not an over the top DJ, but that you allowed the teens to dance and have fun, and still found time to mix songs for the adults.
The comments that you made while you MC’d were appropriate and appreciated. You made Jessica feel so special and that is what the night was about.
